ALL property owners on Mayo Lake are strongly encouraged to become Association members. Dues and gifts are needed for projects to keep our lake healthy and thereby protect our investment in our lakeshore real estate.
Annual Dues
Annual dues are only $150 per year per property.
Dues may be paid anytime during the year and are tax deductible. But, we encourage you to pay early in the year. Most of our annual expenses occur during the spring as this is when we treat for unwanted lake vegetation.

Gifts
There are only 56 properties on Mayo Lake. If we get 100% membership in the Association, that’s only $5600 per year in revenue. So, we very much appreciate gifts given to supplement our income from dues. While only lakeshore owners are eligible for Association memberships, gifts are gratefully accepted from anyone who wishes to support projects in support of our Association mission. Like the dues, gifts are also tax deductible.
Tax Status
Effective in September 2018, the IRS deemed the Mayo Lake Association to be a 501 C3 organization. This allows for dues and other donations to be tax deductible as a charitable organization. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your particular tax situation.
